Millicent was proclaimed in in 1870 and named after Millecent Glen, daughter of the first Anglican Archbishop of Adelaide. As the largest town in the Wattle Range Council, Millicent is a perfect base to explore the attractions of the region.

Millicent National Trust Museum

Located in the main street of town, this Award Winning Museum houses the largest collection of horse drawn vehicles in the Southern Hemisphere. It is also home to the Helen Hughes Costume Collection, Shipwreck room, Millicent Room, Farm Machinery Shed plus more. Open seven days a week.
